HMRC have now confirmed that the deferred July 2020 payment on account will apply to everyone under Self-Assessment not just the self-employed.
If you can and still want to make the payment then you should do so as normal.
For those of you who wish to take advantage of the deferral then you do not need to do anything, but remember that your payment in January 2021 will be increased by what you don’t pay.
